#8SGoodNews: @apple unveiled its first carbon-neutral Apple Watch Series 9, and announced the plan to phase our plastic and leather in their latest event. 🍎⁠

The alternative to leather products is a new textile called FineWoven to be used in phone cases, wallets, and watch straps. They have also announced to deploy all plastic packaging by the end of 2024 as one of the very first major efforts to be carbon neutral for its supply chain and products by 2030. 📱🌿 ⁠
