The last few years has seen an explosion of plant-based foods in Hong Kong, and burgers are no exceptions. Eateries around the city are constantly outdoing each other in creating delicious vegan burgers that are both innovative and satisfying. Whether you’re a hardcore veggie or you just feel like experimenting with a plant-based burger, read on for our picks of the best vegan burgers in Hong Kong, in no particular order. Bon appetit!
1.
POP Vegan

POP is a trendy and upscale vegan restaurant in Soho with an innovative menu of meat-free meals. They have quite an extensive burger menu, featuring “pork,” and “chicken,” and their lentil falafel burger – complete with vegan sour cream – is indulgent without feeling too heavy. The portion sizes are great, too – who says plant-based can’t be filling and delicious?

2.
MANA!

MANA! is one of the OGs in the Hong Kong plant-based scene, with their signature flatbreads arguably the most popular item on their menu. However, their burgers are nothing to scoff at, either. Their Babylon burger is made with their own bean patty recipe with mushrooms, beetroot and tempeh, drizzled with in-house vegan garlicnaise and ketchup.

3.
Big Dill

Big Dill is a retro American diner-style eatery that’s fully vegan. Be prepared for incredibly tasty, innovative and filling vegan burgers that are as good for the planet as they are for your taste buds.
Their burgers are kind of a big dill (geddit?) – we love them as much as we love their tongue-in-cheek names, but we’re particular fans of their Double Dill burger, which features two of their signature “beef” patties loaded with smoky “bacon.” Even the staunchest of meat lovers will struggle to tell the difference!

Green Common

Last, but certainly not least, is Green Common. Their burgers are made with Beyond Meat (they were actually one of the first places to introduce the Beyond Burger in Hong Kong). We particularly like the Beyond Burger Plus, which is made with avocado and vegan cheese.
